| Steal Your Heart |
Bit of a tragedy, the character in this one. Loz wrote it walking home from a horrific job he had as a software analyst for Foxtel. The lydian mode it tends to play in probably comes from Loz's love of early Steve Vai stuff, while there are some definite Extreme influences in the 'instrumental' section in the middle, also known as the 'banana banana' section. Lyrics: It's her intention, I believe So some excuse is always found She'll steal your heart, run into the crowd and nobody else will see. You know the ones I pity most To some I've given honesty Look in her eyes and you will find she's already miles away. CHORUS: (She's in control) She holds the cards, she is the hand behind the scenes And people think that I've moved on |
